School Uniform (available from our specified tailor only)
A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students. Students arriving at school in non-uniform clothing will be sent to the school office to ring home for a change of clothing to be brought to the school.
- Hair styles must be appropriate for school
- Jewellery and make-up are not allowed in school.
- Coats and other outdoor clothing may not be worn in school.
Boys’ Uniform
- Plain white shirt or polo shirt
- Plain, navy blue sweater. NO writing of any type to be on the front of the jumper other than the school’s logo.
- Plain grey trousers
- Plain black shoes; not trainers.
Girls’ Uniform
Plain, long, grey, school skirt or trousers: The skirt should not be tight or have splits and should come down to the ankles. If trousers are worn they must be grey and should not be tight fitting.
Plain, black, flat shoes: Sandals, boots or high-heeled shoes must not be worn.
Socks and Tights:Dark blue, black or white.
Hijab: It is preferred that all girls (Years 7-12) wear hijab and an abba’a when they come into and leave the school premises. Although they can wear a plain, loose fitting, dark blue, black or grey over jacket if they wish instead of an abba’a.
Denim or jeans of any description are not allowed: It is also preferred that Year 10, 11 and 12 girls wear hijab and an abba’a when they go out of the classroom during the school day.
Make-Up: Students’ are not allowed to wear make-up or nail varnish under any circumstances.
Jewellery: Only a watch and plain stud earrings are allowed. Students who come to school wearing: make-up, nail varnish or jewellery will be cautioned and asked to remove it.
Hair and Nails Students are expected to keep their fingernails short and clean. Students should keep long hair neat and tied back.
P.E. Kit
On the days that students have P.E., students can come to school wearing their school track suits, a white top and training shoes; however, girls must keep their abba’a on throughout the day, except when they are doing P.E.
