This website provides you with information about what our school offers. It details the curriculum studied in school with a brief outline to explain the philosophy behind our approach. You will also find general school information to help you familiarise yourself with the policies and procedures in place that enable our school to run efficiently.
Our goal is to provide your child with an excellent standard of education that incorporates both academic and vocational subjects. The foundation of the curriculum that is taught in English, which is broadly based around the National Curriculum of England, is to support your child in becoming an independent learner within an English-speaking environment. Our mission statement seeks to develop your children intellectually and the curriculum encompasses a wide range of knowledge and skills that are built upon each year as they move through the primary school. The mission statement also acknowledges the importance of helping children to achieve their best socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually to provide your child with “an education for life” and we recognise the value of these attributes in our school.
Doha Academy is also recognised in Qatar as an example of how to successfully integrate academic and religious curricula. Our Arabic and Islamic Studies curriculum enhances the quality of education our students receive. These subjects are of tremendous importance to the school and have supported the positive values and Islamic ethos our school strives to impress on our students.
With each child, our aim is to make them feel that they are our most valued and appreciated student. We provide a safe and supportive environment where they can learn and grow to live in harmony with their Islamic values and beliefs in any society.
We look forward to welcoming your child to our school each day and are committed to preparing them to be competent, mature, young adult leaders in our society.
